Pay range is $30.872 $45.509 per hour. The pay rate may be commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints if approved. *** July 1st pay range increase: $31.567 $46.534 per hour ***
JOB DUTIES:
The Business Systems Analyst/Coordinator supports systems managed by the Business Technology Services Division for the Operations Division of NDOT. This role coordinates efforts between internal staff vendors and technical teams to ensure system functionality performance and effective communication.
Core responsibilities include managing projects improving business workflows developing documentation and supporting system implementations and upgrades. The Coordinator also acts as a functional lead assigns and tracks tasks delivers user training and stays current with evolving technologies. Additional duties include writing basic SQL queries performing data analysis troubleshooting technical issues ensuring the reliability of supported systems and other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:Experience in the analysis of business processes and system requirements and the creation of business process solutions for largescale business system applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate has experience analyzing business processes and system requirements to develop efficient userfocused solutions. They excel at translating business needs into technical requirements enhancing workflows and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience with EAMS fuel or fleet management systems in a publicsector environment is preferred.
Other:
- Must have a valid drivers license or ability to provide independent authorized transportation.
- Occasional Scheduled Overnight Travel.
- Regular and reliable attendance is mandatory.
KNOWELEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
- Working knowledge of basic electronics network infrastructure relational databases MicrosoftActive Directory and business process modeling.
- Familiarity with DBMS system integration instructional design and Enterprise systems are also important.
- Strong communication and documentation skills are essential as is the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results on time.
- The position demands strong analytical and problemsolving skills as well as the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to test and validate systems translate between technical and nontechnical audiences and manage access roles and project tasks.
- Ability to present information clearly analyze data recognize patterns and apply rules accurately.
- Skills and ability to be comfortable using software tools managing multiple priorities documenting work and collaborating across teams.
