Job Description
RPO Recruitments client in the Manufacturing Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Procurement Officer to join their team in Durban KwaZuluNatal.
Responsibilities:
- Order nonstock items consumables repairs & maintenance packaging cleaning material and PPE gear
- Monitor and maintain stock ordering levels
- Track order reports on a daily and weekly basis
- Generate purchase orders
- Generate report variances and meet with departmental heads
- Perform all associated admin functions relevant to the role
- Conduct interbranch procurement meeting on a weekly basis
- Support senior buyer in international buying
Requirements:
- Minimum supply chain qualification or similar
- 3 years ceilings and partitions industry experience /similar advantageous
- Code 8 drivers license own reliable transport
- Ability to start at 7:00 am
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Elevated technical ability for ceilings and partition /hardware products
- Ability to converse at all levels
- Attention to detail
- Own reliable transport
