Job Description

A reputable company in the engineering and construction sectors is looking for an experienced and organised Bookkeeper to join their team in Wembley Pietermaritzburg.

The successful candidate will also fulfil the position of Internal HR Payroll coordinator alongside their bookkeeping duties. As such the candidate will be provided with training and support within their new role as part of the onboarding process. The company values itself on maintaining lifelong relationships with the clients they work with and with the communities that they serve.


Responsibilities:

  • Accurate Database management of all staff records
  • Issuance and record keeping of all company policies employment contracts in line with BCEA summary and internal procedures
  • Ensuring the payroll processing
  • Issuing of payslips


Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree /Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Business AdministrationORAny payroll/accounting administration proficiency qualification
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll /bookkeeping administration
  • Knowledge of legal regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Proficiency with payroll processing and accounting software
  • Strong people management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work with confidential information
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure
