Join Our Team at Cumberland Hospital in New Kent VA!
Cumberland Hospital nestled between Williamsburg and Richmond is seeking a dedicated BoardCertified Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team on a PRN/parttime basis exclusively focusing on Children and Adolescents. Anticipated schedule would be 45 days per week during the months of June early September this year with option to add call or weekend rounds for additional compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical Histories & Physicals consultations and followups for Residential treatment patients.
- Proficiency in medical H&Ps and continuity of care is essential.
- Experience in handling a high volume of outpatient exams including ear pain lacerations sore throats abdominal pain and diabetes management.
- Familiarity with psychotropic medications is advantageous although advanced certification/degree in psychiatry is not mandatory.
This role primarily addresses the medical needs of psychiatric patients not psychiatric issues per se.
