Job Description
Job Summary:
Hire Resolves Client are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter Foreman to join our mining team in Gauteng. The Fitter Foreman will be responsible for overseeing a team of fitters and ensuring that all maintenance and repair work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining maintenance and repair work as well as proven leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of fitters and allocate tasks as necessary
Ensure that maintenance and repair work is completed on time and to a high standard
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any maintenance issues
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
Train and mentor junior fitters
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work
Requirements:
Trade qualification as a Fitter
Grade 12 /N3 Certificate
Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance and repair work in a plant mining environment
Proven leadership and team management skills
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
