Financial Management Specialist

This position is part of a team that supports the USINDOPACOM Alpha contract. The Financial Management Specialist will perform financial analysis including creating financial plans managing the offices financial management tool preparing budget exhibits and handling budgeting and budget for all financial accounts managed by client office.

• Prepare financial reports by collecting formatting analyzing and explaining information.
• Monitor accounting budget and financial management reports to ensure financial integrity timelines accuracy and validity.
• Advise senior leaders on the development or revision of financial management policies or programs.
• Prepare financial management data listings reports and metrics regarding the status of funds.
• Explain and interpret complex financial information clearly and concisely to nonfinancial audiences.
• Perform costbenefit analysis to recommend defend or justify decisions.
• Prepare budget exhibits quarterly to track the of current funding and develop spending plans for future financing.
• Evaluate risk levels in financial transactions; conduct risk assessment and mitigation planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards across all analyses and reporting.

Skills/Qualificiations The Financial Management Specialist is essential for maintaining the programs financial health and making strategic decisions based on wellinformed information and insights. This position demands strong financial expertise strategic thinking and excellent communication skills. Ideal candidates will have a robust finance background familiarity with DoD financial systems strong analytical abilities and the capacity to guide and influence business decisions at a senior level.

Education and Experience: This position requires a bachelors degree from an accredited institution.

The following are desirable levels of experience:

• 3 years of experience in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
• 3 years of relevant experience in Financial Management.

Work Location: Work is performed in Honolulu HI.

Clearance: This position requires a TS/SCI security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:

The Nakupuna Companies use a marketbased compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors including but not limited to the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contractspecific affordability organizational requirements and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $95000.00 to $160000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
