Job Description
Engineering Enterprises Inc. (EEI) is seeking an organized detailed oriented highly motivatedengineer to work in its Transportation Group. The successful candidate must demonstrate strongcommunication project collaboration and teamwork.
Responsibilities include:
- Participating on project teams as needed for a variety of projects
- Providing support and/or project lead for planning design and reporting on varioustransportation projects
- Providing construction oversight on various transportation projects
- Providing construction management on various transportation projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT secured or ability to secure
- Entry level to five 5 years of experience on transportation projects including roadwayrehabilitation roadway reconstruction intersection design traffic signal design traffic studiesand shared use path projects
- Knowledge of IDOT standards and procedures specifically as it relates to Phase I / Phase IIdesign requirements and MFT requirements would be preferred
- Experience with MicroStation and traffic modeling software (such as Highway CapacitySoftware or Synchro) would be a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A valid drivers license
