Job Overview
Rima Machines Pvt Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Purchase Engineer to join our team in Surat. This midlevel position is FullTime and FixedTermEmployment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management with a focus on optimizing procurement processes and managing vendor relationships effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in negotiation (Mandatory skill).
- Strong expertise in supply chain management (Mandatory skill).
- Ability to manage vendor relationships effectively (Mandatory skill).
- Conduct cost analysis for better procurement decisions.
- Efficient inventory management to avoid overstock or stockouts.
- Experience in sourcing to identify reliable suppliers and products.
- Competency in contract management to ensure compliance and optimal terms.
- Aptitude for market research to stay abreast of industry trends and pricing.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the endtoend procurement process to ensure timely and costeffective delivery of materials.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to secure advantageous deals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers ensuring consistent quality and supply of materials.
- Analyze cost and supplier performance data to drive continuous improvements.
- Coordinate with the inventory management team to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and alternative materials.
- Prepare and review contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Work closely with other departments to align procurement activities with overall business objectives.
