Sessional Instructor Department of Engineering Thompson Rivers University Kamloops BC

The Department of Engineering at Thompson Rivers University is a recent initiative to offer the Software Engineering Degree Program.
The department is seeking to hireSessional Instructorto teach on a contract basis Onesection of a first year course ofENGR 1200Engineering Design IIin the Winter 2025. This course is subject to budgetary approval.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters Degree preferable Ph.D. in Software Computer or Electrical Engineering discipline.
- Must have a valid Professional Engineering License
- Must familiar with .Arduino Mega 2560 or similar microcontroller and be able to teach labs using microcontroller.
- Related teaching experience is considered as an asset.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required
The duties includes but not limited to including preparation and delivery of course content development administration and marking of assignments project midterm and final exams etc. and final portfolios.
