Position Summary:
As the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor you are responsible for daily oversight supervision and planning of programs activities.
The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining records and database on company properties/facilities
- Maintaining safe secure compliant efficient facilities; prioritize tasks identify & discuss cost savings solutions
- Maintaining fleet/operating equipment forklifts batteries lifts jacks etc. as per Maintenance protocol
- Maintaining reviewing and implementing cost reduction strategies in the region as they relate to efficiency operations of energy consumption and utilities in general
- Maintaining necessary staffing in company facilities to include participation in Job Description and duty assignments interviewing hiring daytoday interactions coaching as necessary to include disciplinary activities up to and including termination if warranted
- Maintaining oversight of daily workload for company Facilities Maintenance Technicians
- Maintaining staff requirements certifications & training; mentor and coach as required
- Assigning tasks based on priorities of safety operating and cost efficiencies
To be qualified for this position you must possess the following:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Verifiable leadership skills in Facilities Maintenance field
- Mechanical plumbing carpentry electrical and welding skills required
- Advanced licensing in electrical / HVAC or lift truck trades a plus
- Good communication skills both oral and written in order to converse with customers and coworkers; good phone and computer skills (MS Office)
- Ability to read interpret and understand blue prints
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to walk long distances over diverse terrain for long periods
- Must be able to climb ladders work at height or roofs as required
- Must be able to work in a diverse work environment which could be internal or external and during periods of inclement weather
- Ability to travel to other Pyle facilities in assigned area to perform the above duties as needed
