We are on the lookout for dynamic selfmotivatedShotfirers to join our growing Platinum familywe have permanent fulltime positions available within the Bowen and Galilee basins.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor these positions will be offered on a 7:7 even time roster with flexible travel arrangements dependent on site and location.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Leading blasting operations with precision and efficiency
• Guiding and supporting the blast crew to enhance their performance and develop their skills
• Overseeing the maintenance and safety of all blasting equipment
• Maintaining accurate records of blasting activities and inventory
• Proactively solving technical and operational issues during blasting activities
• Prioritising safety protocols and ensuring regulatory compliance with environmental health and safety regulations

You will have:

• Previous experience as a Shotfirer preferably within the coal sector
• Knowledge of explosives blasting techniques and safety procedures
• Relevant certifications licences and clearances required to carry out the duties of the role
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• A cando attitude excellent communication skills and problemsolving abilities
• A commitment to safety quality and environmental standards
• The ability to pass preemployment checks inclusive of medicals and national background checks
