Internal Sales Engineer Industrial Valves
Location: Loughborough
Salary: Up to 50000 per annum 10 annual bonus)
- 8 company pension

As Internal Sales Engineer you will be the link between customers and Area Sales Managers helping to drive sales by handling technical enquiries and generating quotation. You will be working closely with internal teams including production engineering and Sales to ensure a seamless customer service experience. Youll be joining an experienced team and will have the opportunity to contribute to a successful sales environment.
About the Role
- Supporting Area Sales Managers by handling customer enquiries and guiding them from initial contact to final sale.
- Performing calculations to determine the best product specifications for customer needs including valve selection sizing calculations and technical assessments.
- Supporting the customer from enquiry to sale ensuring customers receive the right technical solution.
- Working closely with internal teams including production to prepare quotes and ensure smooth processes.
- Collaborating with the Area Sales Managers to follow up on quotations and drive sales.
- Provide an excellent customer service by prompt response and follow up action to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Updating internal databases and CRM systems with accurate and up to date customer information and enquiries to ensure seamless tracking and reporting.
About you:
- A strong technical background ideally in mechanical components (eg valves actuators fluid control systems pumps or rotating equipment)
- You have strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform valve sizing flow calculations and assess system requirements.
- Experience in fluid handling industries
- Ability to interpret customer requirements and generate technically sound solutions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and manage multiple customer enquiries quotes and internal coordination simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise between customers ASMs and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- CRM experience
