Responsibilities and Duties
- Personal Care Attendants provide service to individuals in their own homes and communities who need assistance caring for themselves as a result of old age sickness disability and/or other inflictions.
- Assistance includes bathing exercising meal planning and preparation dressing positioning transferring/ambulating feeding companionship housekeeping/laundry personal hygiene/grooming transportation shopping/errands/outings toileting incontinence care and ensuring client safety.
- Personal Care Attendants are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards.
Qualifications and Skills
You MUST be reliable dependable and meet all hiring requirements.
All candidates must be able to:
- Be licensed by the Department of Health VA
- Have a current negative TB test or will be able to obtain one.
Experience:
- Worked as CNA/HHA: 1 year (Preferred)
