Job Description

Urgently Hiring!! Looking to fill as soon as possible!!

Job Summary

QSAC is hiring parttime NYS Certified Special Education Teachers for our home and community based EI SEIT and SETSS programs (NYC boroughs).

We offer flexible schedules with a minimum commitment of 5 hours per week but can increase the case load to 20 hours. All programmatic instruction is designed and implemented according to the principles and procedures of applied behavior analysis (ABA). The salary range for this position is $55.00$65.00 an hour.

Hours are 8am6pm.

Qualification & Work Experience

  • New York State Permanent Certification in Special Education or Students with Disabilities (B2 or All Grades) Initial or Professional certification required
  • Experience with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and applied behavior analysis is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!
  • Demonstrate patience and ability to learn and utilize systematic procedures to enhance independence and quality of life
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others and individuals served
  • Commitment to company values and adherence to policies

Locations

Childs home an approved or licensed preKindergarten or Head Start program nonspecial education school setting or a childcare location selected by the parent.

QSAC pursues this mission through direct services that provide a supportive and individualized setting for children and adults with autism spectrum disorder to improve their communication socialization academic and functional skills.
