Location : Plymouth MN and Minnetonka MN Code Ninjas Centers and surrounding areas in Twin Cities

Coding Experience : Preferred but not required

Qualifications:
  • Working history with children ages 5 and up (babysitting mentoring coaching etc. and enthusiasm for working with kids.
  • Some background in coding or sharp enough to quickly pick up the basic concepts. STEM/Coding experience (Plus).
  • Works well with others; collaborates and adapts to changing situations
  • Must be fun adaptable and able to help our ninjas have fun too!
  • Knowledge of business operations sales and team leadership.
  • Sales and bottom line oriented Getitdone mentality.
  • Organized and deadline and detail oriented.
  • Holds high standards for themselves and the team .
  • Ability to reliably commute/relocate to Twin Cities areas before starting work (Required)
Job Description:
  • Provide highquality but fun coding instruction to students and help them develop their skills.
  • Create a positive safe and fun environment for our ninjas
  • Provide feedback to parents after working with student who is on a tour.
  • Manage student progress and provide weekly feedback to parents including posting updates in our social media pages.
  • Work with the executive team on lesson plans to ensure that the curriculum is engaging effective and up to date.
  • Mentor and train other instructors (sensei)
  • Assist the Center Director with daytoday operations of the classroom (dojo) including scheduling and staffing of instructors (sensei).
Responsibilities:
  • Junior Curriculum:
    • Lead the Junior program to implement lesson plans and develop programs to ensure that the curriculum is engaging effective and up to date.
    • Mentor and train other instructors on the curriculum
    • Keep up to date with latest trends in coding education and incorporating new technologies and teaching methods into the centers programs
    • Maintain the Padlet and other forms of parent communication as required by the Junior program
  • Offsite:
    • Plan develop and implement offsite programs like running Jr. Programs in day care centers offsite camps and workshops.
  • Daily Operations :
    • Work closely with the Center Director to provide assistance with the following:
    • Manage the daytoday operations of the classroom (dojo) including scheduling and staffing of instructors (sensei).
    • Mentor and train other instructors (sensei) to ensure that they maintain the centers quality standards.
    • Maintain a fun but productive environment for students and instructors.
    • Uphold corporate standards with respect to safety center cleanliness & operational standards.
  • Student/Parent Relationship:
    • Provide highquality but fun coding instruction to students and help them develop their skills
    • Engage and build positive relationships with children and families in the center.
    • Work with parents to define childrens learning needs and progress
    • Manage and resolve customer service issues.
    • Manage student progress and provide feedback to parents.
  • Marketing/Promotions/Business Development:
    • Work with the leadership team to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new students to the center.
    • Work in collaboration with the leadership to promote the center by building relationships with schools (public and private) local businesses and the community (event participation).
    • Follow up on leads in CRM schedule tours and close sales for new enrollments.
