Responsible for providing technical guidance for project work installation and rebuilding of facilities machines and equipment. Will also provide direction andor project leadership as directed. Prepare calculations design and layouts as required for project study evaluation and subsequent approval. Conduct structural steel design and analysis including layout and details in preparing drawings associated with building modifications production areas batch and raw materials distribution systems. Translate technical guidance received from supervisor onto usable data applicable to the particular assignment. Direct and schedulecoordinate manpower assigned to project activity for the performance of assigned responsibilities. Supervise field installations coordinate project activities to meet fasttrack schedules and tracking project costs. Undergraduate engineering degree in civil or related discipline with emphasis on structural engineering. Professional engineering license preferred or willingness to obtain license required. Previous experience andor a background in the glass container industry is highly desirable. Strong PC knowledge with knowledge in Microsoft Applications MS Project Management as well as extensive computer aided drafting experience and structural analysisdesign software. Must have excellent interpersonal communication analytical and problem solving skills. Must be capable of making presentations.
