JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The HR Specialist is detailoriented and organized specializing in payroll and benefits. This role is responsible for managing payroll administering employee benefits and providing HR support to ensure compliance accuracy and excellent employee experiences. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in payroll systems benefits administration and HR practices.
Payroll Administration:
Process and manage payroll for employees from different US projects ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies.
Coordinate with payroll vendors HR and finance teams to ensure accuracy in payments tax filings and recordkeeping.
Prepare and submit payroll reports including tax filings and yearend documentation (e.g. W2s 1099s).
Handle payrollrelated discrepancies inquiries and audits efficiently.
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting tax submissions and local labor regulations.
Assist in the implementation and optimization of payroll and HRIS systems.
Identify opportunities to improve payroll and benefits processes for efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Standardize global practices where feasible respecting local variations.
Benefits Administration
Administer and oversee the US employee benefits program including health insurance retirement plans leave policies and wellness programs.
Collaborate with regional HR teams to implement competitive benefits packages that comply with local laws and align with company policies.
Act as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries enrollment and changes.
Partner with benefits providers to manage vendor relationships and resolve issues.
Monitor and administer leave policies including FMLA disability and other paid/unpaid leave programs.
Oversight of Company Shares program with Castor International.
HR Generalist Responsibilities:
Support onboarding and offboarding processes including new hire orientations and exit interviews.
Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
Responsible for Monthly Quarterly and Annual reports for HQ.
Ensure compliance with HR policies labor laws and company regulations.
Contribute to employee engagement initiatives including wellness programs and recognition efforts.
Collaborate with the HR team to address employee relations issues and support organizational goals.
All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field preferred.
35 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration preferably in a multinational environment.
Familiarity with HRIS systems and benefits platforms.
