Description

The Account Executive will have responsibility for prospecting engaging and selling Tylers Cybersecurity products and services to local government organizations. This is a sales role that will also be responsible for executing sales objectives and initiatives to satisfy all growth revenue and quota objectives. The Account Executives responsibilities will cover lead generation prospecting (including RFP Responses cold calling and crossselling activities) sales managing contracting and key messaging as well. An applicant for this role should be enthusiastic about cybersecurity and have direct experience working with the public sector.


Responsibilities

  • The Account Executive must develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the assigned territory and target market.
  • Supplement Tyler inbound leads with personal prospect contact both through onsite visits and consistent technologybased efforts (email phone TEAMS etc..
  • Represent Tyler at applicable trade shows and events in designated territory and target market. May attend national industry conferences when appropriate.
  • Constantly cultivate relationships and develop credibility with prospective and existing clients.
  • Work with various Tyler internal teams including sales marketing implementation support and development.
  • Secure and attend meaningful onsite meetings with various members of prospective agencies to gain information pertaining to their business needs and current environment.
  • Conduct presentations in front of organization executives (IT Directors Finance Directors Admin Services Directors City Managers etc. including drafting of presentation materials and sales messaging.
  • Manages long and complex sales cycles from lead generation to close of sale.
  • Travels to customer locations and applicable trade shows or onsite demonstrations.
  • Assists with preparation of RFP responses.
  • Regularly manage prospects opportunities and territory pipeline via a sales CRM.
  • Meet annual sales quota set forth by the company.
  • Maintain and communicate plans and reports regarding sales activities on regular basis.
  • 50 80 business travel.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • 13 years of direct sales experience preferred.
  • Cybersecurity experience and/or credentials (Security M.S. CISSP etc. preferred.
  • Must possess a competitive drive and resultsoriented approach.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills. Previous public speaking experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proven selfstarter in addition to a team player.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office tools (Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with pipeline management software (i.e. sales CRM tools reporting tools etc. to manage sales processes including price quotes forecasts correspondence and marketing is preferred.
