Job Title: Senior Interior Designer Education
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Interior Designer with a focus on educational environments to join our team. As a key member of our design division you will lead and contribute to the creation of inspiring functional and innovative interiors for educational institutions.
Responsibilities:Design Leadership: Lead the interior design process for educational projects from concept development to implementation ensuring the creation of dynamic and studentfocused spaces.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with educational institutions administrators and architects to understand project requirements and integrate educational goals into the design concept.
- Material and Finish Selection: Curate and select materials finishes and furnishings that align with educational design trends sustainability goals and budget considerations.
- Space Planning: Develop efficient and creative space plans that optimize educational environments for learning collaboration and student engagement.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure interior designs comply with relevant codes accessibility standards and safety regulations for educational facilities.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including architects and project managers to integrate interior design seamlessly with overall project goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Interior Designer with a focus on educational projects.
- Proficient in relevant design software and tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful completion of educational interior design projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of current trends and innovations in educational design.
