Work Schedule:

70 FTE day shift. 8hour shifts Monday Friday 7:00AM 5:00PM. Some weekend shifts required.Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist Mammographyto:

  • Perform a wide variety of routine complex and specialized procedures under the general supervision of the section Team Lead and Radiology Manager.
  • Perform bone mineral density (BMD) exams.
  • Provide basic maintenance and repairs participate in QA and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.
  • Coordinate and actively participate in the training of other Imaging technologists fellows residents physicians and visiting health care professionals and serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and assist in training other Imaging technologists.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required
  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field Preferred
  • Bone Mineral Density (BMD) Preferred
Work Experience
  • Previous healthcare experience Required
  • 2 years of clinical experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • ARRT Radiography (R) Certification Upon Hire Required
  • Wisconsin Radiological License Upon Hire Required
  • ARRT Mammography (M) certification within 30 months Required
  • If Bone Mineral Densitometry is part of the hired role: ARRT Bone Densitometry Technologist (BD) or ISCD Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT) within 30 months of hire
  • CPR certification within 3 months Required
