Our medical robotics team at ZEISS is looking for a highly motivated intern to contribute to research and development in robotics computer vision or augmented reality for nextgeneration medical applications. A handson research experience in robotics augmented reality and computer vision

The possibility of continuing as part of a Masters thesis project
Work on the development of nextgeneration medical devices
Design implement and test computer vision robotic and augmentation solutions for medical applications
Develop and showcase test systems and prototypes using stateoftheart technologies
Plan and conduct experiments and demonstrations to validate concepts
Collaborate with a team of engineers medical experts and researchers
Present and discuss research findings in team and department meetings
Enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in computer science mathematics electrical engineering medical technology physics photonics or related fields
Strong programming skills in Python C/C or C#
Knowledge or experience in robotics computer graphics augmented reality or computer vision
Ideally experience with 3D graphics
Creative pragmatic and selfmotivated with strong analytical skills
Capable of working independently as well as in a teamoriented environment
Excellent organization problemsolving & communication skills in English and German
Passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies as well as motivation to work in agile interdisciplinary teams
