Job Role Summary
ENGLISH US LOCALE
Paralegal Support for DisputeRelated Law Functions
Job Role Responsibilities
- Under the direction of an attorney provides a variety of professional legal support services in connection with litigation arbitration administrative agency proceedings and other disputes involving the Company
- Maintains a working knowledge of court and/or agency rules and procedures
- Possesses a strong understanding of the corporate organization and develops contacts/resources within the organization
- Investigates claims conducts interviews issues/monitors legal holds coordinates all phases of the discovery process (with heavy emphasis on eDiscovery) performs legal and factual research and provides all necessary support up to and including trial and appellate proceedings
- Possesses strong technical skills as numerous applications are regularly used e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint SharePoint Atlas Introspect Relativity (and other electronic document review applications) Law Matter Management Pacer and Westlaw
- Interfaces with clients outside counsel opposing counsel court and agency personnel fact witnesses experts vendors etc.
