The Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining vehicles at Mazda of Columbia in Columbia South Carolina. As an Automotive Service Technician you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform inspection and testing of vehicles systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Provide accurate and detailed reports on repairs and maintenance performed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Automotive Service Technician in a dealership with minimum 3 years ofexperience.
- Must have OEM certifications
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle models.
- Familiarity with industrystandard diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Description of the Role:
The Service Technician at Mazda of Columbia is responsible for conducting diagnostic tests and repairs on Mazda vehicles. They will use their technical expertise to identify and resolve mechanical electrical and other vehiclerelated issues.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on Mazda vehicles
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues
- Repair and replace faulty mechanical and electrical components
- Conduct inspections and test drives to ensure repairs are successful
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an automotive technician
- Excellent knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Strong diagnostic and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Valid drivers license
