Job Description
DNV USA Inc. seeks a Kubernetes and DevOps Engineer to work at our office in Katy Texas.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for all aspects related to the operation and support of Kubernetes and containers technology Azure cloudbased solutions and strong DevOps scripting & automating skills (including integrations of cloud and onpremises components).
- Ensure the effective stable and secure operation of DNVs global Azure cloud IT infrastructure with onpremises elements.
- React to customers feedback and requests using both ITIL and SCRUM methodologies.
- Ensure proper communication with customers.
- Incidents troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Development of monitoring solution based on Azure Monitor toolset. Cooperation with monitoring operators.
- Producing design and operational documentation.
- This position requires 5 domestic travel.
- Role is hybrid allowing periodic work from home within a reasonable commuting distance of the Katy TX office.

Bachelors degree in Engineering Software Engineering or IT related field of study and three 3 years of experienceas a DevOps Developer Full Stack .NET Developer or related role where required experience gained.
Special Skills: Also requires experience in the following:
- Two 2 years of Kubernetes clusters and containers GIT CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps GitHub) Infrastructure as Code with Terraform Azure cloud;
- Two 2 years of experience in DevOps;
- Proficient scripting and coding skills for DevOps operations;
- Full stack developer background to support internal developer teams using Kubernetes cluster;
- Hands on experience with the following Kubernetes and DevOps tools: GitOps (ArgoCD or Flux) Docker Helm Kustomize;
- Knowledge of Service Mesh (e.g. Istio) Networking and Monitoring toolsets; and
- Scope of work in design & development implementation & administration Kubernetes clusters as a platform for business projects and DevOps support for handled projects.
