Position Summary
Postdocs in organic and physical organic chemistry to study and develop novel environmentsensing dyes and proteindye conjugates including structures for single molecule imaging in vivo and for multiplexed biosensor/optogenetic imaging (J. Am. Chem. Soc. 14118:. PMC6572722. Projects here will focus on the GTPase cycle and on exocysts. We offer an opportunity for chemists to learn protein engineering and microscopy and to apply their own new probes to answer cell biology questions. This project involves novel approaches for specific derivatization of proteins within live cells.
