JOB OVERVIEW

This is a new opportunity within the Department of Corrections and this position is responsible for the overall operation of a Department of Correctionsoperated prerelease center located in Kalispell MT. This position is responsible for establishment implementation and operation of a prerelease center program that is focused on public safety and delivery of services aimed at reducing recidivism.

Facility readiness and program development will occur in the first 6 to 9 months of employment and will include tasks and activities related to:

  • Offender residential services
  • Facility and community security processes
  • Case management services
  • Treatment and programming delivery
  • Community outreach
  • Facility staffing
  • Facility infrastructure needs

Once the facility is operational this position will serve as the facility administrator responsible for all aspects of the facilitys operation including overall staff and offender supervision facility safety and service delivery.
