Medical Science Liaison (Hematology)
Overview:
We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison for a 3 day a week contract 12 months duration) in the field of Hematology. Experience in blood plasma is a plus. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders healthcare professionals and academic institutions within the Hematology therapeutic area
- Provide scientific and medical support for internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate complex scientific information to healthcare professionals and other stakeholders
- Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of Hematology and effectively communicate this information to the team
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support the development and of medical strategies
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in life sciences or healthcarerelated field (PharmD MD PhD or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Indepth knowledge of Hematology with experience in blood plasma being a strong advantage
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of clinical research and regulatory requirements
Daytoday:
- Engage with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to provide scientific and medical support
- Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of Hematology
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support medical strategies and initiatives
- Communicate complex scientific information in a clear and concise manner
