Job Description
The Group now packs and supplies high quality products for all major and minor chains throughout Southern Africa.
You will play a critical role in maintaining the financial records ensuring compliance with company and statutory requirements and providing accurate management accounts.
Role: Accountant
Location: Durban KZN
Industry: FMCG / Packaging
Start Date: Immediate
Qualification:
- Must have Grade 12 Matric or NQF4 equivalent qualification.
- Must have a clear criminal record.
- BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
- 3 years of experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles SARS and CIPC regulations
- Proficient in accounting software (Pastel Evolution SAP)
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Role & Responsibilities:
- Maintain General Ledger and ensure accurate processing of financerelated transactions
- Review and sign off batch and transaction processing reconciliations and age analysis
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly management accounts and reports
- Ensure compliance with SARS CIPC and other statutory requirements
- Maintain accurate cash flow balance sheet and other general ledger reconciliations
- Assist in budget and financial yearend processes
- Ensure electronic and paper filing is up to date
