Job Description
Torch Technologies is looking for individuals with experience and interest in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) applications and aerodynamic analysis to be a part of our team as an EntryLevel Aerospace Engineer. Your mission will be to conduct aerodynamic studies of U.S. Army flight systems using CFD.
Key Responsibilities:
Construct CFD meshes using tools such as the Pointwise mesh generation software.
Obtain CFD solutions on proposed and existing U.S. Army flight systems using flow solvers such as Kestrel US3D StarCCM DPLR3D and OVERFLOW.
Extract analyze and document the aerodynamic data that is obtained.
What were looking for:
An Aerospace Engineer experienced in CFD applications in the subsonic to hypersonic speed regimes.
Familiarity with aerodynamic data and analyses.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Aerospace/MechanicalEngineering a related field or equivalent experience from an accredited university.
Candidates with an expected graduation date of May 2025may still apply and be considered for the position.
Experience in CFD applications and analysis.
An active Secret security clearance is preferred. The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required.
