The Role
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on housing poverty Do you have a knack for maintenance and repairs We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Trade Assistant to join our Internal Maintenance Service (IMS) team at Community Housing Ltd.
As a Trade Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting our vision of a world without housing poverty by ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of CHL properties in the region by undertaking general handy man duties including repairs and maintenance handson gardening and cleaning tasks. Working closely with our IMS team you will contribute to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our clients.
We are looking for one for a fixedterm contract until October 2025 and one permanent fulltime position.
About You
If you are a dedicated individual with a passion for contributing to a greater cause and possess the technical skills to excel in property maintenance we want to hear from you!
Essential Criteria:
- Trade qualified in relevant discipline desired but not essential
- Commitment to the right of every person to good quality housing
- White card (or ability to obtain)
- Current Drivers License (mandatory)
- Satisfactory Police and Working With Childrens Check
Please note that a satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
