We are currently hiring for multiple teaching positions at our middle school campus at Skyrattler serving students in Grades 5 through 7. Candidates will be considered for placement across a variety of teaching roles within these grade levels.

Position Summary
AACS Skyrattler is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic teachers for multiple Grades 57 classroom teaching positions. As part of a dynamic and growing team successful applicants will:
- Deliver engaging structured lessons aligned with AACSs direct instruction model and a strong emphasis on academic rigour.
- Support a learning environment that fosters student confidence accountability and high achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of instruction contribute to schoolwide initiatives and uphold shared expectations.
- Build positive relationships with students and families promoting a safe respectful and inclusive classroom.
- Embrace and model the schools core values of Innovation Hard Work Empowerment Respect Integrity Empathy and Compassion.
Education:
Bachelor of Education degree from a recognised and accredited institution. Eligibility for Alberta Teacher Certification is required.Experience:
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to academic rigour and high expectations for all learners.
- Create and maintain a structured engaging classroom that aligns with AACSs direct instruction approach.
- Foster a learning environment that promotes equity diversity and inclusion.
- Integrate Indigenous perspectives into teaching and classroom practice in meaningful ways.
- Exhibit excellent classroom management and strong interpersonal skills.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute positively to the school community.
- Model professionalism maintain reflective practice and embrace a growth mindset.
