The Opportunity

The Director Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to support the commercial success of our DM1 (Myotonic Dystrophy Type 1 product portfolio. This role involves collaborating with crossfunctional teams to help drive product launches market penetration and brand awareness. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the biotechnology and rare disease markets with a proven track record in marketing strategy product management and team leadership.

What You Will Contribute

Strategic Marketing:

Actively engage in the development of the DM1 strategic brand plan and market research plan to identify growth opportunities and ways to build competitive advantage including shaping market analysis and competitive positioning.

Contribute to the development and implementation of integrated launch plan and launch readiness

Manage premarket commercialization development and postcommercialization marketing efforts across key customer segments and channels.

Brand Management:

Drive implementation of disease and brand campaigns including the development of core messaging and ensure consistency across all channels.

Lead the development and U.S. implementation of core promotional initiatives and materials for key stakeholders with a focus on healthcare professionals.

Oversee the development and of marketingspecific activities related to medical conventions exhibits and trade shows.

Manage materials projects and resources through the internal review committee process (PRC); work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and vendor partners while leading the review of materials through PRC.

Partner with Marketing Operations to develop a robust speakers bureau including speaker management creation and of ongoing training for promotional speakers and development of promotional & nonpromotional slide decks.

Lead development of commercial congress activities including at major scientific and advocacy congresses including nonpromotional and promotional material .

Partner with training in the of new training materials or initiatives including future sales meetings or POAs.

Collaborate with the digital marketing team to ensure strategic alignment across all marketing plans and initiatives. Leverage digital tools and analytics to optimize marketing efforts and enhance customer engagement.

Crossfunctional Collaboration:

Collaborate with multiple functional groups across the organization including but not limited to Medical Affairs Regulatory Affairs Market Access Operations Legal Patient Advocacy and Sales to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall business objectives and ensure consistency of brand messaging across all channels.

Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including patient advocacy groups healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders to enhance brand recognition credibility and loyalty within the DM1 community.

Budget Management:

Responsible for the management of multiple Agency Partners including management of associated budgets forecast and accruals and vendor contracts to ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

Compliance

Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory and legal requirements including promotional review processes advertising standards and industry guidelines.

What We Seek

Bachelors degree in marketing business life sciences or a related field is required. An advanced degree (MBA MS) is preferred.

10 years of experience in marketing within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry with a focus on rare diseases or specialty markets.

Proven track record of successful product launches and brand management in a highly regulated environment; launch experience is required.

Previous HCP marketing experience required including demonstrated leadership in campaign development medical marketing and speaker bureau management.

Previous experience with DM1 or other neuromuscular disorders is a plus.

Exceptional strategic thinking analytical and problemsolving skills.

Ability to quickly understand and communicate all clinical data/publications to support business objectives.

Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.

Experience in digital marketing including content strategy social media and digital analytics is a plus

Ability to thrive and work collaboratively in a fastpaced entrepreneurial matrixed environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in pharmaceutical marketing.

Requires up to approx. 30 travel.

What We Will Provide To You

The base salary range for this role is $223250 $246750. The final compensation will be commensurate with such factors as relevant experience skillset internal equity and market factors.
