About the role

As a Senior Interior Designer this position is responsible for providing project guidance to assigned interior designers based on the WRAs design process.


Requirements

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Project Coordinator/Manager (PM) and Design Lead (DL) on overall design of project. Main contact for interior design in the project. Manage mentor and provide training to a team of interior designers.

Skill Set

Must have a good working sense of form space order and context

Ability to teach mentor and train our team

Ability to work through and present multiple solutions

Ability to produce and develop a concept

Will collaborate with product vendors and other industry leaders to stay on top of current trends and new materials

Reports

Senior Interior Designer will report to Project PrincipalInCharge (PIC) and Project Manager (PM).

Continuing Education/ Expertise/ Leadership

This role must possess a Bachelors degree in Interior Design.

Minimum of five years experience working in an Architectural firm preferably on K12 and higher education facilities municipal facilities or housing.

Registered Interior Designer in Texas and/or Oklahoma preferred.

Participate in seminars conventions trade shows & organizations relevant to Interior Design Architecture and School Design (NCIDQ AIA seminars) in order to stay uptodate on the latest best practices and techniques.
