Track & Field Coordinator
JOB INFORMATION
Title: Youth Track & Field Coordinator
Classification: Coordinator Parttime Seasonal
Dates: Month of June
Supervisor: Works under the supervision of the Recreation Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY
Youth Track & Field Coordinator will be responsible for coaching youth Track/Field ages 512. Delegating responsibilities to the Track & Field Coaches at the Starion Sports Complex
JOB DUTIES
*Responds to questions the participants or parents may have.
*Responsible for coaching participants and assigning duties to coaches.
*Complete Initial Incident/Accident Reports as needed and give to the supervisor.
*Report to work on time and ready to work. Absences must receive prior approval by Recreation Supervisor.
*Ability to communicate and work with the participants parents and other coaches.
*Assisting to recruit staff
*Work with Recreation Supervisor to create track meet events.
*Communicate with coaches regarding their time off requests.
*Update standings and send to Recreation Supervisor.
*Hand out Ribbons at the end of the season
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to stand for 35 hours at a time.
Working outdoors
Qualifications
Must have knowledge of the fundamentals and skills of Track & Field.
The ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Position will require extensive contact with youth.
