Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead the design development and integration of AI/MLdriven solutions into FortiAnalyzer enhancing its security analytics and automation capabilities. This role requires a strong background in AI/ML model development security data analysis and software engineering as well as leadership experience in managing development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and integration of AI/MLpowered features into FortiAnalyzer focusing on security analytics anomaly detection and automated threat response.
- Manage and mentor a team of software developers and data scientists ensuring the successful delivery of AI/ML solutions.
- Oversee the entire AI/ML pipeline including data collection preprocessing model training deployment and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with security experts product managers and crossfunctional engineering teams to align AI/ML initiatives with business and product goals.
- Ensure the scalability reliability and security of AI/ML solutions in a production environment.
- Stay up to date with AI/ML advancements security threats SIEM/SOAR trends and industry best practices to drive innovation.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science AI/ML Data Science or a related field.
- Handson experience in AI/ML model development training and deployment for realworld applications.
- Strong background in data science or data engineering including data processing feature engineering and model optimization.
- Proficiency in Python scikitlearn TensorFlow/PyTorch and data processing frameworks.
- Work experience in security data analysis SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) or SOAR (Security Orchestration Automation and Response).
- Proven experience leading and managing a development team to deliver AI/ML solutions integrated into a product.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with C/C GO Java or Scala for performancecritical applications.
- Experience working with log analytics cybersecurity and Fortinet security solutions.
- Knowledge of database data warehouse and data lakehouse.
- Knowledge of big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark Hadoop.
The Canada base salary range for this fulltime position is expected to be between $110000 $150000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market job type and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidates subject knowledge skill level qualifications and experience.
