Job Description
Come home to Aloha. Providing personalized skilled nursing intermediate long term respite and hospice care in a warm plantationstyle atmosphere.
Essential Duties:
1. Vacuums sweeps scrubs mops dusts and waxes as needed floors carpets windows walls woodwork blinds fixtures and restroom facilities.
2. Moves furniture cabinets boxes crates and large equipment to facilitate cleaning.
3. Collects and removes trash in and around the facility.
4. Mops up spills and wet area; picks up litter in and around the facility.
5. Cleans stairways elevators and entrances and exits.
6. Makes up resident room units for new occupancy. Understands universal precautionary and cleaning of a contaminated unit.
7. Upholds the values of Hale Ho Aloha ensuring that the mission and vision of the company are understood and accomplished with consistency.
Requirements:
- Physical exam (within 1 year)
- 2 Step TB Followed by 1 Step TB (within 1 year)
- High School graduate or equivalent one 1 to three 3 months related experience or training.
- Ability to speak write read and follow simple oral and written instructions.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and materials.
- Related experience in Facility Maintenance Laundry and/or Housekeeping preferred.
