Job Description
CAPITAL is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Diesel Technician to join our service team. The Diesel Technician will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining dieselpowered vehicles ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude expertise in diesel engine systems and a commitment to delivering highquality service.

Automotive Diesel Technician Responsibilities:
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues with diesel engines
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes filter replacements and fluid checks
- Inspect repair and rebuild transmissions in dieselpowered vehicles
- Repair and replace components of the exhaust system including mufflers and catalytic converters
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems in diesel vehicles including those in heavyduty equipment
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair options and timelines
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all repair activities
- Other duties assigned
Automotive Diesel Technician Requirements:
- GM Certified Diesel technician
- Experience as an Automotive Diesel Technician with a focus on diesel engine repairs
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications in Diesel Engines and related areas
- Indepth knowledge of diesel engine systems including diagnostics and repairs
- Ability to work collaboratively with other technicians and service personnel
- Proficiency in using a variety of automotive tools and equipment
- Serviceoriented mindset with a commitment to providing excellent service to customers
- Willingness to adapt to changes in diesel engine technology and repair techniques
- Must pass preemployment background screenings
