Job Description

Randolph High School is seeking a LongTerm Substitute ML Teacher position is from April 16 2025 through approximately May 30 2025. The LongTerm Substitute Teacher Rate is: $250.00 per day for Days 120 $307 for Days 21.Responsibilities will include: Planning developing and implementing instruction in English as a Second Language in a selfcontained setting and in mainstream classes.Collaborating with mainstream teachers in pushin classrooms.Utilizing a variety of instructional methodologies and curriculum resources geared specifically towards ELL students.Working as a team member sharing common planning professional development curriculum design and teaching responsibilities.Administering student assessments and planning instruction for students based on the data from the assessments. Specifically understanding how to use WIDA (Massachusetts English Language proficiency standards) in order to differentiate instruction for students at different language proficiency levelsBeing an active member of the schools Language Assessment teamFacilitating and participating in Transition meetings for students who meet the minimum expectations for leaving ELL services.Attending school based meetings as needed and pertinent English Language Learner professional development sessions.Completing necessary paperwork regarding the identification progress monitoring and transitioning of English Language Learners in each school.Providing support and sharing information with school staff on ESL/ELL matters.Responsibilities will include: Planning developing and implementing instruction in English as a Second Language in a selfcontained setting.
