Job Description
Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented Staff Accountant to join our corporate team in Hattiesburg Mississippi. As a Staff Accountant you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the financial records for our company. This is a fulltime individual contributor role with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements
Manage and maintain general ledger accounts and journal entries
Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable ensuring timely and accurate processing
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis
Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial data and analysis for decision making
Assist with yearend closing and audit processes
Keep uptodate with accounting regulations and best practices
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Prior experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
