Job Description
What You Will Be Doing:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement longterm strategies for facility maintenance improvement and expansion.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of facilities engineers and technicians providing guidance training and performance evaluations.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage facility budgets ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
- Project Management: Oversee facility construction renovation and maintenance projects ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations environmental standards and industry best practices.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to facility operations including safety hazards equipment failures and environmental impacts.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve facility performance focusing on efficiency reliability and costeffectiveness.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with senior management operations personnel maintenance teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Petroleum Civil or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of facilities experience in the oil and gas industry with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Proven track record in facilities engineering design maintenance and operations.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles codes and standards (e.g. API ASME DPT PHMSA).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD ProMax or similar engineering design software.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary.
- Interaction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the job.
- Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
- Use of hands and fingers for typing writing and handling documents.
- Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
