Location: Paris London Copenhagen or US Eastern Time Zone.
This position will be assigned at the Coordinator or Associate level depending on the candidates work experience.
Position Overview
The Communications and Marketing Coordinator/Associate is an integral member of BSRs Marketing and Communications Team providing support for important team functions including editorial social media and digital communications email marketing and event planning and logistics.
The Coordinator/Associate reports to BSRs Editorial and Campaign Strategy Manager but engages with and supports MarComms staff and other colleagues across the organization on a variety of key communications and marketing priorities.

Key Responsibilities
Digital and Social Media
- Draft social media posts for LinkedIn and Bluesky drawing from BSRs editorial content events partnership promotions and media mentions. Maintain a social media calendar for tracking upcoming promotions and inbound requests.
- Create digital marketing materials (images videos and audio content) to promote editorial events podcast episodes and BSRs engagements at global convenings.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Content Marketing and Campaign Strategy
- Proofread and upload all new editorial content to the website and work with authors to update content as needed.
- Support editorial campaigns by tracking and reporting on key performance indicators.
- Support the production of BSR email blasts newsletters and other email marketing by setting up distributions and building lists; tracking and analyzing openrates clickthru rates etc.
- Collaborate with Website Content Associate and Senior Developer to manage marketing automation tool (Pardot) and maintain customer database in Salesforce for marketing purposes.
- Support the development and implementation of marketing automation activities (nurture campaigns lead qualification lead generation etc.
Events and Event Marketing
- Work closely with the Global Events Manager to execute BSR member webinars and regional inperson events by:
- Supporting manager on timely of deliverables associated with external event crossmarketing partnerships.
- Managing all logistics related to memberonly webinars including: setup prep hosting and followup.
- Providing logistical and marketing support for inperson events including BSRs annual member convening by building out invitation lists website listings setting up eblasts and registration systems onsite logistics sending followup emails etc.
Administrative
- Gather Global Communications Team updates for weekly internal newsletter.
- Manage creation of new staff bios and updates to existing staff bios on website.
- Manage orgwide media subscriptions.

Qualifications
- Interest knowledge of and/or experience supporting strategic communications campaigns involving events PR social media and editorial content
- Three to five years of communications or marketing experience with a company nonprofit or global organization preferred
- Fluent in English with superior written and verbal communication writing and editing/proofreading skills
- Experience using marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g. Pardot and Salesforce) a plus
- Knowledge of and experience in basic HTML and/or website content management systems
- Exceptional time management skills with ability to deliver on simultaneous projects in multiple timezones
- Interest knowledge of and/or experience working on issues related to sustainability/corporate social responsibility or other relevant topics including climate change human rights and social justice a plus
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong initiative and a problemsolver with a can do approach
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word Excel PowerPoint
- Skills in Photoshop Premiere Pro and InDesign a plus
- Video and podcast / audio editing skills a plus
- Capacity to work and thrive in a growing fastpaced entrepreneurial organization with a collaborative environment
