Core Manufacturing Engineering in the Operational Excellence organization is hiring a Product Manufacturing Engineer to led Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) elements in support manufacturing readiness for Pratt & Whitneys 6th Generation war fighter propulsion system.
The Product Manufacturing Engineer will be integrated with the Operations Quality and Engineering teams and will act as the liaison between engineering program and operations. They will lead a specific part or part family MRL advancement through the of MRL elements such as Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) yield & cost curves and Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) trade tools to identifying and mitigating manufacturing and operational risk. The scope of this role will include both Pratt & Whitney internal shop and supply chain components.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work in a high technology advanced program environment incorporating the latest manufacturing readiness assessment tools. The ideal candidate will be an experience proactive and goal oriented professional to lead MRL on critical parts. This resource will have a key role in refining and improving MRL standard work as it applies to early phase programs.
