Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: UK London Leeds Milton Keynes Newcastle Hybrid or UK Remote
Your division: AECO Architects Engineers Construction & Owners


Due to continued growth in our AECO business sector we are increasing the size of our Enterprise sales team with this newly created role of Business Development Manager.

Working within the Enterprise sales team you will focus on high value and/or complex sales in the Construction Sector. Our various BIM products are some of the most widely used and well thought of digital construction platforms in the sector. Billions of pounds of construction projects are currently being built or managed using our software.


What Will You Do
As a Business Development Manager at Trimble you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth strategy by identifying and securing new and existing enterprise customers in the UK and Ireland. Your primary focus will be on promoting and selling Trimbles design estimating project and field management solutions to large enterprises. You will leverage your deep understanding of enterprise sales and your ability to build and maintain strong relationships to achieve sales targets and contribute to the companys success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential new logo enterprise customers in the UK and Ireland

  • Develop those accounts with further upsell and cross selling opportunities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decisionmakers and stakeholders within target organizations

  • Conduct product presentations demonstrations and negotiations to showcase the value of Trimbles project and field management solutions software solutions

  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing product management sales engineers and customer support to ensure a seamless customer experience

  • Stay uptodate with industry trends competitive landscape and emerging technologies to effectively position Trimbles solutions.

  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of sales activities opportunities and forecasts using CRM software


What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in enterprise sales both new logo and existing accounts preferably within the software industry

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Good understanding of construction project management and field solutions software

  • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with seniorlevel executives and decisionmakers

  • Selfmotivated resultdriven and ability to work independently.

  • Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and Ireland as needed

  • Understanding of Tekla MEP and Viewpoint and other widely used construction software tools are beneficial
