ResponsibilitiesWhat sets this role apart Youll be the face of UL guiding clients through technical requirements explaining procedures and resolving challenges. Youll propose new test methods contribute to industry standards and have opportunities to represent UL at industry events. Plus youll integrate continuous improvement practices into your daily work and drive innovation in safety.
Customer Collaboration:
- Evaluate fire alarm control panels and communicate project status issues and results.
- Address and resolve client concerns promoting UL services.
Project Management:
- Define project scope specifications and timelines.
- Conduct and witness tests coordinate administrative tasks and prepare reports.
- Serve as Project Handler or Reviewer when assigned.
Technical Support & Compliance:
- Provide technical assistance on inspections and followup services.
- Establish test programs resolve engineering issues and notify clients of compliance concerns.
- Develop special test methods and propose new/revised UL requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
- Integrate improvement practices and support lab and field staff.
- Represent UL at industry events and maintain UL Code of Conduct standards.
Qualifications- Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics or a related field.
- Experience: 510 years working with commercial fire alarm systems; product certification experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

The estimatedsalary for this position is $125000 and is based on multiple factors including jobrelated knowledge/skills experience geographical location as well as other factors.This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10 of the base salary.
