Job Description

Linux Windows UNIX Red Hat Security Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) XACTA Latte Art Biscotti STE/STN Nessus
Due to federal contract requirements United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

Required:

    • Must be a US Citizen.
    • Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph.
    • At least fifteen 15 years of direct/relevant experience.
    • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    • Five 05 years of additional Systems Administration experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
    • Security Certification.
    • Provide support for implementation troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
    • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification diagnosis and resolution of problems.
    • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
    • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
    • Provide Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification diagnosis and resolution of problems.
    • Provide support to IT systems including daytoday operations monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices mobile devices etc.
    • Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
    • Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
    • Provide indepth experience in troubleshooting IT systems.
    • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
    • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
    • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software troubleshoot maintain integrity of and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
    • In addition to systemsbased operating systems configure and manage virtual environments.
    • Patch systems based on stateoftheart security and functional parameters.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

    • Strong RedHat Linux command line administration and trouble shooting skills.
    • Strong Windowsadministration and trouble shooting skills.
    • Experience with using Nessus Scanner and managing Nessus Agents.
    • Ability to Write POA&Ms.
    • Know how to maintain a Secure the Enterprise (STE)/ Secure the Network (STN) score.
    • Familiar with Latte Art Biscotti XACTA
$160000 $200000 a year
The pay range for this job with multilevels is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
