The JobSquad Solutions is currently looking for a Controls Technician to work at a company located in Jackson MI!
We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join a premier automotive supplier in Jackson MI on a fulltime Direct Hire basis. Our client is a leader in the automotive industry recognized for its innovative solutions and commitment to quality. This position offers competitive wages at $30/hr. along with a generous benefits package. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching developing designing and testing electrical components equipment and systems. Work hours are 10hour shifts Monday through Thursday from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Researches develops designs and tests electrical components equipment and systems by performing the following duties:
- Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs.
- Develop electrical schematics and BOMs using AutoCAD.
- Integrate and program Fanuc robots.
- Troubleshoot PLCs motion controllers and servo drives.
- Support automated manufacturing lines.
- Provide technical input for business and productivity initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Research and recommend new technologies.
Requirements:
- 13 years of related experience.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Strong programming and troubleshooting skills for PLCs.
- Experience with automated industrial equipment.
- LabVIEW knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A team player with the ability to work independently.
- Frequently lift lower and carry up to 50 lbs.
