Your purpose
As the General Manager of Home Houseyou will oversee the entire operation ensuring exceptional member experienceswhile driving financial performance and operational efficiency.
You will be responsible formaintaining the highest service standards optimising revenue and fostering avibrant and engaged community within the club.
This role requires a strategicpeopleoriented leader who is highly driven adaptable and collaborative.
You will lead and inspire departmentheads and teams to deliver excellence while upholding the brands values andvision.
Reporting to the Chief ExecutiveOfficer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Service standards
Manage the business to ensure consistent andcontinual high level service standards.
Monthly feedback on progress to the CEO.
Develop rapport with both members and staffmembers through spending time in each area to assess opportunities.
Seek out member and guest feedbackresponding in a timely and efficient manner.
Interact with the community by facilitatingthe connection / introduction of members and hosting events as required anddrive Community interaction with the team.
Support the F&B Managers and Head Chefwith menu development maintaining the standards and budgetedGP margin percentage.
Ensure you support the community whilstproviding a professional and friendly service throughout the House.
Ensure our Standard Operating Procedures andSteps of Service are updated and followed to ensure the team is equipped withthe knowledge to provide excellent service to members and guests.
Havecomplete knowledge of facilities room rates and yielding promotions and hoursof operation across the Operation.
Ensure the team positively approach salesopportunities in order to maximise revenue by making informed recommendationsbased on indepth knowledge of the menus (including preparation techniques andaccompaniments).
Set andmaintain correct stock levels in Operational departments purchasing withinbudget constraints.
Oversee thestock management process.
Ensureproducts are procured at the best achievable price and standard from thefinest suppliers.
Ensure allguest enquiries and special requests are handled to standard.
Encourageand respond to guest feedback.
Team management
To managethe team whilst promoting a professional image with a caring and helpfulattitude to ensure consistent and continual high service standards.
Meet yourteam regularly to manage performance provide leadership and direction.
Ensuredepartmental heads conduct quarterly communications meetings.
Ensure thateach Head of Department is assigned their own personal development plan andimplement training strategies where necessary.
To recruit and select excellent team members ensuring your staff turnoverremains in line with Company Key Performance Indicators.
Develop your team and hold appraisals on Open Blend at least once perquarter.
Liaise with the Human Resources team regarding any employee relationsissues in order to ensure compliance with Company policies and employmentlegislation.
Business development
Develop and communicate an actionplan in order to deliver continual improvements increased revenue and profit.
Identify ideas and resources thatwill enable the achievement and surpassing of financial targets.
Budget control
To have overall responsibility forthe operational costs and profitability of the Club in order to ensure thatEBITDA percentages revenue and profitability is achieved.
Effectively manage payroll inaccordance with the budget.
Effectivelymanage our people systems (Fourth Harri) and ensure rotas are kept up to dateaccording to business levels.
Ensureaccurate financial reporting including forecasting and sales opportunities.
Report and update at weekly P&Lmeetings.
Ensure Opera/ PMS / Simphony and Kitchen CUT are accurately administered.
Manage Voids/ Discounts/ Management charges and PM accounts to control revenue loss.
