Job Description

Currently hiring a Senior Mechanical Estimatorto join our estimating team. The SeniorMechanical Estimator will work on our Industrial Services team. This position is responsible for ensuring that the estimation process is timely and accurate to put our best foot forward for our customers.

Your capabilities:
- Negotiate prices with vendors/subcontractors through quotations for materials/services
- Coordinate bid preparation requirements with the estimating team
- Prepare budgets subcontracts purchase orders and assist in preliminary project schedules
- Review proposal specifications drawings soil reports and existing site conditions to determine the scope of work
- Estimate indirect cost including management construction equipment and tools support facilities
- Lead and/or support successful competitive bid projects lead designbuild pursuits and Target Value Delivery opportunities
- Engage in proposal presentations
Job Requirements:
- 5 years experience as a construction estimator as well as industrial construction build/design work
- Strong Leadership and Supervisory skills
- Craft experience in mechanical for INDUSTRIAL projects
- LEED philosophies
- Experience in conceptual estimating and design build a must
- Understanding the influence of market conditions on pricing
- Up to 15 travel to walk jobs as needed
- Local to Montana is ideal
Software experience:
- Experience with estimating software such as Heavy Bid Bid2Win Sage OST Procore
- Takeoff software (Blue Beam etc.
- Proficient with Excel spread sheets and Word process
