Job Description

Overview

Come join our outpatient team in Mebane NC! This position will provide evaluation and treatment for our pelvic health and orthopedic populations. Our patients are scheduled oneonone for 45 minutes no techs no assistants.No weekends or holidays. Our clinic located right off of I40 with easy access from both the Triad and Triangle regions. Hours are MonThurs 9hour days and Fri 4hour day. Onsite mentorship by a clinical specialist is available. No weekends or holidays. This includes communication with physicians and other health care personnel to assist in providing quality patient care. The Physical Therapist I evaluates patients conditions develops personalized treatment plans and implements therapeutic interventions to optimize functional abilities. This role works closely with patients guiding them through exercises and techniques to improve mobility strength and flexibility. This role also educates patients on injury prevention provides pain management strategies and monitors progress throughout the treatment process. The Physical Therapist I monitors and evaluates outcomes related to the assessment and plan of care. This position requires guidance and mentoring for completion of the essential job functions.

Responsibilities

Supports evaluations of patients physical abilities medical history and functional limitations to develop individualized treatment plans.
Administers therapeutic exercises and other physical therapy interventions to improve patients strength flexibility and range of motion.
Educates patients and their families on treatment plans home exercises and selfmanagement techniques to improve recovery outcomes.
Collaborates with others in developing and implementing discharge plans and recommendations for continued care.
Monitors and documents patients progress treatment outcomes and responses to interventions so that treatment plans can be adjusted as needed.
Collaborates on teams from different departments to ensure coordinated patient care and holistic treatment outcomes.
Performs other duties as reasonably required or assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:Required: Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy

EXPERIENCE:

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
North Carolina license by the NCPT Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
BLS (CPR)American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
