Position Summary:The IT Help Desk Intern provides timely response and resolution to complex customer issues. Troubleshoots and maintains computer hardware software printers and telephone systems to ensure the productivity of CMHA employees and staff. Essential Responsibilities and Target Outcomes: - Assists with software installs
- Assists in hardware inventory
- Assists with the deployment of new equipment
- Assists with password resets with Active Directory
- Assist IT team with user requests for service troubleshoot problems and help develop solutions
- Documents and tracks problems in ticketing system
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements: - Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in a computer related field.
- Applicants must have awareness of PC hardware components desktop operating system software and application software.
- Interested applicants should possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.
- Applicants should have the ability to research and understand technical documentation and an understanding of how to apply various technical resources.
- Applicants should have the ability to perform tasks such as operating systems and application software installations and upgrades as well as virus protection and eradication
